A lecture about clowns — a contemporary performance for those who love and those who hate them.
Two academics take on the challenge of giving a lecture when things take unexpected turns. The show deconstructs the image of the clown, exploring the various meanings the profession has acquired over time. Mixing physicality, text, live music, and projected images, Like a Clown reveals and distorts classic clowning archetypes, moving between past and present, blending cultural influences and theatrical techniques to delve into the constantly evolving identity of the clown.
